Rykem Lyons

Rykem was born in Alice Springs in 1983. He is the son of artist Mildred Lyons and has two siblings, one of whom also lives in Blackstone. Rykem grew up and did his schooling in Blackstone and has worked extensively as a ranger across the Ngaanyatjarra Lands. He started painting recently at the art centre and predominantly paints Tingarri Tjina given to him by his grandfather, Norman Lyons.
