Kapi jukurla are holes in the rocks where water collects during the raining periods. Knowledge of where to find kapi tjukurla was handed down as it was important to know which kapi tjukurla had water especially during time of drought as it could mean life or death. Kapi refers to rain, water and water in rock holes. The circles in the painting represent the kapi tjukurla. The lines connecting the circles are the creeks, streams or paths the water takes that appear during the wet season.
